Hello and happy Wednesday!
I’m excited to bring you a look into some of my eats from this week and share a bit about the Winter Shape Up, which is something I’m participating in for the second time!
The Winter Shape Up was created by Gina and Anne, and their genius minds came up with a 4 week program complete with free workout plans and free meal plans/grocery lists. Gina is a certified personal trainer & group fitness instructor and Anne is an RD, so I’m quite confident in the quality of the program. If you’re interested you should absolutely head over to check it out, the best part is it’s free!
I’m not following the meal plans/workouts to a t, but rather trying to use them to supplement my current meal plans and workout routine. Adding some variety is never a bad thing!
Here’s a look at some of the food I’ve been rocking in Week 1!
Breakfast: Protein pancake + blueberries and maple syrup
Morning snack: Blood orange + 1/2 an apple
Lunch: Split into two – broccoli slaw + chickpeas and cucumber topped with olive oil and vinegar and a slice of Mexican lasagne (unpictured).
Afternoon snacking: Carrots, tortilla chips and salsa, and a spoonful of peanut butter.
Dinner: Kale with Left over gnocchi & spaghetti squash topped with homemade meat sauce.
Post dinner snack: Chocolate of course.
Are you participating in the Winter Shape Up? Have you made Mexican Lasagne before? It’s seriously the most delicious thing ever.
